Dr. Rickey Luke, CTO and Vice President, engineering with Cable TV of East Alabama, inducted into SCTE-ISBE Hall of Fame.
During Cable-Tec Expo 2017, Dr. Rickey Luke, CTO and Vice President, engineering with Cable TV of East Alabama, was inducted into the SCTE-ISBE Hall of Fame. Prior to CTVEA, Rickey amassed many fruitful years in engineering roles with Storer, TCI and Knology. Rickey studied hard and used a dissertation on fiber deployment in CATV architecture to earn his Ph.D. from California Coast University. Rickey was instrumental in deploying fiber architecture while the technology was still in the early stages of development. Dr. Luker also has distinguished himself as an SCTE-ISBE-certified Broadband Communications Engineer-Emeritus, or BCE-E.
